Ambrose In Drydock (Photos) and Maintenance Day Saturday

Harbor photographer extraordinaire John Watson stopped by Caddell Drydock earlier this week and took some awesome photos of our lightship Ambrose out of the water. They are below…

Also, if you haven’t heard*, Saturday January 7th is the first Seaport Maintenance Day of 2012. Muster is at 9:00am on the apron between Piers 15 and 16. If you can come, please RSVP to Beth Childs at volunteercoordinator@seany.org.

(*And if you HAVEN’T heard, it means that Beth doesn’t have you on her list. Please email her at the above address.)

In other exciting news, Captain Richard Dorfman has returned as Master of the Schooner Pioneer, and you can welcome him back on Saturday!

Wow! Glad to see Ambrose getting some much needed love. I always loved the lightships.

  2. As a U>S>Navy Vet i am sure the dry dock will produce a new Ambrose for Seaport.
